AJ began animating professionally in 2007. With a passion for game dev and virtual production, he learned to rig, code for tools/systems, and build FX. He loves R&D, figuring things out, and making awesome things!
ANIMATION
Anim and senior anim since 2007. Lead anim on 4 films and 4 games. Supervising animator twice.
RIGGING
Maya and Unreal based rigging experience. Control rigs, retargeting, mirror tables, foot/hand planting (in run-time).
CODE
Experience in Blueprints, C++, C#, python and MEL. Most proficient in BP for systems/tools in Unreal, can figure out most tasks
HOUDINI/NIAGARA
Hard surface and fluid dynamics experience in houdini and maya (bullet). Real-time experience with Niagara and Chaos.
Passionate about game development
AJ studied animation art and design in college (2001-2005) specifically to make games. He began in games and moved to film and VFX in 2009, but the spark never died and he jumped on any and all game projects that came his way. He has been solo developing and even taught game development at Epic Games at the 2025 fellowship for game dev.
